ANCIENT STONE is a stone sculpture galleries located about 10 Km from the temple of Borobudur, a magnificent Buddhist temple in world. Our location is also located only 5 km from the slope of Merapi Mountain that can allow us to obtain various qualified lava rocks for our sculptures.

RAW MATERIAL :
All raw materials that we need to produce our statues are natural original stone from the nature. We don't use any synthetic stones.
* White Stone
* Granite Stone
* Lava / Temple Stone.



White Stone we got from the mountains in the area of Yogyakarta, about 20 km from our studio. In this area is famous for the production of chalk rock. In accordance with its name, the color is white and sometimes slightly yellowish, the color of ivory. All the stone colors that we get is natural because of the natural process. We never treat the stone colour become what we like.

Granite stones we get from the area in East Java. From the research result, granite stone which we use is higher quality than the granite found in China. Our Granite is harder and more polished.


Lava stone we have in abundant quantities on the slopes of Mount Merapi.

Because of our experience over decades, we know exactly the quality of each stone. Each stone has specific character, so we know what stone is the best to make a certain statue or relief.

THE WAY WE WORK :
Each product is done with a full sense of art and a true heart so that every statue that we produce can be more alive and can be enjoyed.

We serve the needs of the statue for various purposes with height variations ranging from 50 cm to 50 m.

HOW TO ORDER :
A. For buyers who already have a product sample
- Samples sent to us along with 30% down payment from the total value of the product
- 50% remaining payments should be paid when we have completed 50% stage of work
- The rest payment of 20% given to us when you want to pick up the product from our studio.
We will send report to you about the progress of your product.

B. For buyers who have the design
- Design is discussed along with our sculptor
- At the time of deposit transaction deal 30% of the total transactions submitted to us
- 50% remaining payments be paid when we have completed 50% stage of work
- The rest payment of 20% given to us when you want to pick up the product
We will send report to you about the progress of your product.

C. For buyers who haven't had a design yet
- The design will be done by our sculptors for free
- At the time of deposit transaction deal 30% of the total transactions submitted to us
- 50% remaining payments be paid when we have completed 50% stage of work
- The rest payment of 20% given to us when you want to pick up the product.

OUR PRODUCTION CAPACITY:
We believe strongly in maintaining the welfare of our sculptor because without them we could not do much. Our credibility and the way we "humanize" the craftsmen made us easily deploy them when we have many orders. So no matter how many orders we receive, we can finish them on time.

OUR CRAFTING HISTORIES :
We looked back from history, at around Muntilan were found many temple sites. There are Buried Temple, Dog Temple, and some other small temple sites. Whereas for large sizes we can find Borobudur and Mendut Temple.

Based on the history, the ancestors of Muntilan people are welknown for its skill in making stone sculptures. To produce a perfect stone statue can not be done by everyone. The person must have a smooth feeling and sincerity.

OUR WORKSHOP SITES :
As far as we look around our workshop we only find green rice fields and when the time comes, it will turn to golden when the rice grains begin to turn yellow. But what makes the scene more impressive is the variety of stone mounds piled lava, and the results of sculpture masterpiece is sticking out of the crevices of trees and rice paddies.
